ITEMS

Items are your menu items and are grouped by category.

You can change the order in which the items show up by dragging and dropping them in the middle column’s panel.

There are several different settings available when creating and editing an item. They are listed below.

ONSITE NAMES

You can set a vanity name which will be the name displayed on the Customer app as well as on the receipt.

You can set a kitchen name which will be the name displayed on the Kitchen app as well as on the kitchen chit.

PRICE

The item's price before or after taxes. The taxes that will be applied to the item are based on the tax settings of the category the item is in.

Note:
If a category is set to apply taxes, you can set an item within that category to being tax exempt.

If a category is set to be tax exempt, you can set an item within that category to apply taxes.

OPTIONS

If you are using options, they will be listed and you can then select which options you want to make available per item.

The first step is to select what option groups you will be choosing from when linking them to an item. Once you save your selection, the selected option groups will be made available and the options that they contain.

When you click on the '+' icon, it will display all available options. You can select specific ones individually. If you want to select all available options, you can do so by selecting them all next to the '+' icon, and vice versa for unselecting them all.

Note:
If you have all selected, when you add a new option in a particular option group, it will be automatically selected with the item.

For every group of options you can set selection rules that will be applied to the items when being added to an order.

OPTIONAL
None or as many that are available in the group may be selected.

CHOOSE UP TO #
None or up to a set number in the group may be selected.

If you want the options’ pop-up to always appear when adding this item to an order, so that your customer may be prompted if they would like to add any options but the options are all optional, set all groups of options with this rule.

CHOOSE #
A set number must be selected.

.

CHOOSE AT LEAST #
A minimum set number up must be selected and any more that are available in the group may be selected.

CHOOSE FROM # TO #
A minimum set number must be selected and up to a maximum number may be selected.

ONLINE

You can select what items you want to make available on what online platform.

You can set an item as Sold Out on all online platforms.

You can set a different price per online platform.

Note:
Some online platforms have a pickup price versus a delivery price.
